A leading nonprofit organization had expanded its use of AI tools across the enterprise but needed a clearer understanding of how to scale AI beyond individual productivity gains. While AI adoption expanded across teams, inconsistent governance, fragmented knowledge, and varying levels of AI readiness made it difficult to embed AI into repeatable business workflows.
Logic20/20 conducted a nine-week AI readiness assessment to identify and prioritize opportunities for broader AI adoption. Through interviews with 16 stakeholder groups, we documented more than 150 pain points, identified 31 AI opportunities, and prioritized 12 recommendations. The resulting roadmap gives leadership a structured framework for advancing AI adoption through stronger governance, workflow integration, and strategic prioritization.

Developing a roadmap for responsible AI adoption
Logic20/20 began the assessment with stakeholder interviews and workflow analysis to understand existing AI use, operational pain points, and organizational readiness. We mapped the findings to potential AI use cases, then assessed each based on business impact, feasibility, complexity, dependencies, and governance considerations.
Through this process, we identified 31 AI opportunities and prioritized 12 recommendations aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. We then developed a roadmap for the five highest-impact opportunities.

The AI readiness assessment provided leadership with a comprehensive view of AI opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and strategic priorities. Leaders also gained a stronger governance model and improved data readiness—core organizational capabilities that support consistent, responsible AI adoption across the organization.
The prioritization gave leadership greater clarity on resource allocation, with five high-value use cases emerging as the strongest candidates for further investment.
